FIG Logos
Guideline for use of the FIG Logo
- The Logo may not be used by non-members, including former members
whose membership has lapsed due to nonpayment of dues. To check whether
your institution, company or organization is a current member, please
see our list of members, or email
fig@fig.net.
- The Logo may be used to identify your school, company or
organization as a FIG member. It may be used on websites, signage,
reports, brochures, and other publicity or display materials. The Logo
may link only to the FIG home page. You may not use it to link to other
pages on your website or any other websites.
- The Logo must be used in its entirety and may not be altered in any
way, including proportion, color, element, type, etc. except by express
permission from FIG. You may not animate, morph or in any other way
distort the appearance of the Logo.
- The Logo can be printed in black ink or in its original colors.
Altering the color scheme of the logo is not permitted
- The Logo may not be used to indicate any kind of endorsement by FIG
of a company's product or service; or that any official status for any
product or service has been conferred by or is otherwise associated
with FIG; or to show any kind of relationship with FIG aside from those
permitted above.
- The Logo may not be used on official documents such as sales
contracts, or official disclosure documents provided to potential or
actual clients or purchasers of a member company's services or products.
- The Logo may not be used in connection with any disparaging
statements about FIG or its products, or statements that otherwise
reflect poorly on FIG.

Screen logos
The logo used on this web site is based on web-safe color #CC0000 and is a
bit warmer than the red in the official logo. If you need FIG logo on a web
site, you can download the logos below by right clicking them and choosing
Save Picture As (or equivalent command).
If you want to use a darker version with approximation of PMS 200 in a
web-safe palette (#CC0033; R203 G0 B51), right click
the logos below and choose Save Picture As (or equivalent command).
Note: The logo used on this site has been cropped from top by 6
pixels. The logos above have official dimensions.
If you need screen logos with closer approximation of PMS 200, you can use
one of the thumbnails of the print pictures at the top of this page. The
thumbnails are JPEG files in RGB TrueColor space and their red is based on
R196 G30 B58 (which is not a web-safe color).
Typography
It is recommended that the name of the organization is set in AvantGarde
(Normal), if possible. The name should be written in gemena (not in all upper
case) characters, as in the masthead of this site:
