Spain Export and Investment, whose objective is to provide young talents
with the opportunity to gain professional experience abroad through
internships in international companies. This opportunity allows
participants to develop key skills in global environments, improve their
employability, and contribute to the internationalization of Spanish
companies. The project is aimed at university graduates and master's
students who meet the established requirements, offering them the
opportunity to complete internships with financial support in
international destinations.

FIG Young Surveyors 4th African Regional
Meeting in Mombasa, Kenya 27-28 October 2025
Deadline: 31 July 2025. Only open to eligible young
surveyors from the Africans Region.
The FIG Foundation will sponsor and award Young
Surveyor Grants in support of the FIG Young Surveyors 4th African
Regional Meeting and 10th ISK African Regional Conference. A total of 4
grants will be awarded. Deadline to submit application is 31 July 2025.
Each of the grants will include travel costs (e.g. airfare),
accommodations (6 nights), registration fee, reimbursement of cost of
visa (if required) and per diem of 50 USD (5 days).
This is a Regional Grant Offering and Only open
to eligible young surveyors from the Africans Region. Prior recipients
of an FIG Foundation grant are not eligible to apply. The FIG Foundation
definition of young surveyor: A young surveyor or student of surveying
35 years or younger.

Sarah Sayce Award 2025
Deadline: 31 August 2025
The Sarah Sayce Award for Sustainability
Research has been established by the Property Research Trust, the Aubrey
Barker Fund and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors to
recognise research which enables or furthers the practical adoption and
application of sustainable solutions in the property industry.
It is a single award of £3,000 for a research
paper that makes a distinctive contribution to our understanding of how
to make property more sustainable.
The award is in memory of Sarah Sayce, who
sadly passed away in November 2021. Sarah had a long and distinguished
career and made a lasting contribution to all four of the award’s
supporting organisations.

The EAASI Outstanding Thesis Award 2025
Deadline: 31 August 2025
This award recognizes graduate research that effectively connects manned
aerial platform geospatial technologies with real-world business
applications. The winner will receive a cash prize of €2,000, travel and
accommodation expenses to present their work at the EAASI Conference
(Dubrovnik 18-21 November 2025) and significant industry visibility.
The deadline for applications is 31 August 2025.

The Abel Prize

Call for nominations
The Abel Prize recognizes outstanding scientific work in the field of
mathematics, including mathematical aspects of computer science,
mathematical physics, probability, numerical analysis and scientific
computing, statistics and applications of mathematics in the sciences.
The Abel Prize was established in 2002, and awarded for the first time
in 2003.
The Abel Prize amounts to NOK 7,5 million.
The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters awards the Abel Prize on
the basis of a recommendation from the Academy’s Abel Committee, chaired
by an Academy member and consisting of four further members elected
among names put forward by the International Mathematical Union and the
European Mathematical Society.
The Abel Prize may be awarded to one single person, or shared for
closely related fundamental contributions. The Abel Committee receives
all nominations and may itself nominate candidates for the Abel Prize.
