Get ready for impactful events and exciting opportunities with FIG.
The 9th FIG Regional Conference is taking place in a few weeks in Nepal. Are you in the region and have not registered yet, it is now time to help shape the climate and disaster resilience agenda in the region and beyond. Eight focused sessions will lead to an actionable plan with regional reach.
Moving further East, in Brisbane, Australia, the FIG Working Week 2025 will take place in April - coupled up with the national event, Locate25, giving the unique option to bring the national and international audience together. Submit your abstract now whether for peer reviewed or regular papers.
Moving back West, we are excited to announce the 1st African Woman Land Professional Associations Conference which will be held in Tanzania, organised by the Africa Regional Network.
Plus, Member associations, please check out two open calls: It is time to nominate potential Chairs Elects for the ten FIG Commissions, and to submit bid for the destination for FIG Working Week 2029. Do not miss out!

FIG and our member association from Nepal, the Nepal Institution of Chartered Surveyors NICS are pleased to invite you to the FIG Regional Conference 2024. With a special focus on Climate and Disaster 12 technical sessions await you. The outcome from all sessions will contribute to a final ‘Call for Action’ publication will be produced based on the conference to engage regional governments, professionals, and stakeholders. It will feature recommendations derived from the event.

Are you from the region, then this is the time to influence the call for action and future directions on how to tackle the climate  and disaster challenges. A cooperation among the countries in the region will be powerful.

FIG Working Week 2025 - SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT AND TAKE ACTIVE PART IN THE PROGRAMME


FIG and Geospatial Council of Australia have the honour to invite you to the FIG Working Week 2025 held jointly with the national event Locate25.

This spectacular event will be held in Brisbane Convention & Exhibtion Centre (BCEC) in the capital city of Queensland, Australia. The dynamic city of Brisbane shows seamless blends of urban sophistication with cutting-edge technology and research, making it the perfect location for geospatial and surveying experts and its related professions.

Call for papers - submit your abstract

Organising FIG Working Week alongside the national event Locate25 will give a unique opportunity for the international and national surveying, geospatial, valuation and related professions to team up, connect, learn and collaborate.

This event will feature over 70 technical sessions, interactive workshops, and a comprehensive exhibition, showcasing the latest advancements in geospatial technology.

The main theme is Collaboration, Innovation, and Resilience: Championing a Digital Generation. In recent years, transformative forces have required the industry to redefine how it delivers value while advancing sustainability. 

FIG Working Week 2025 + Locate25 will therefore include multi-disciplinary sessions across all ten FIG technical commissions, task forces, networks, and permanent institutions. The Conference will address foundational issues related to the Political, Economic, Social, and Technological trends shaping our future. We encourage submissions of cross-disciplinary nature that reflect the evolving landscape of the sector.

We invite abstracts for peer-review and regular/non peer-review papers across all areas of geospatial/surveying/hydrography/construction/valuation and related professions. Topics will include (but are not limited to):
